I'm a 36-year-old, self-edcucated, soon-to-be father. I started out with socialist-leaning politics, then discovered libertarianism, then was pulled over to the Republican party by a conservative friend before becoming disenchanted with them as well, realizing that governments would never be self-limiting, and coming upon my current political philosophy, which is that human rights can only be guaranteed by directly empowering individuals, families, and small organizations through technology and knowledge. Give relationship advice, make predictions about the future, talk about application and network architecture, make fun of your business model, explain the relationship between interest rates, exchange rates, and trade flows, and explain the holographic principle. If you're interested in learning about Facebook, be aware that while Facebook is pretty open about a lot of things, I can't speak for the company nor can I talk about anything that hasn't been released yet. I also can't give you any numbers (number of users, number of servers of various types, etc) that haven't already been released to the public.

Mark Frazier Sean,

Great to discover you after a keyword search on "libertarian" - and a further delight to see the shared interests in resilient communities, virtual worlds, entrepreneurial space ventures, P2P initiatives, and Austrian economics.

Hope you'll explore my "Favorites" links at the new http://MiiU.org/wiki/openworld jump point into Resilient Communities. I'd welcome a 10 minute Skype with you session on whatever topic(s) you see of most interest.

Best,
Mark Frazier (@openworld @peerlearning)

What's a Ten? Should you buy it?

A Ten is the right to chat with someone online for ten minutes. There's only one Ten for each person available to buy at any given time.

There are two reasons to buy it:

1. You want to talk to them.

2. You want to make credits.

As soon as you buy it, the price of this Ten will automatically increase by 10%.

So when someone else buys it away from you, you will get more time credits back than you invested.
