Peter Parsons In an absolutist sense, you are correct. The vast majority of us are content to chase our tails and never look outside the circle.

As a law clerk, I wrote an opinion for my justice based upon a legal precedent. I did not like the result, but stare decisis is firmly embedded in the law.

The justice gently opined "If a decision was wrong then or wrong now, why the hell should we follow it?" It was an "Aha!" moment in my life.

What's a Ten? Should you buy it?
